Farmstay.
The beautiful Bunya
Mountains: Visit tropical rainforest with huge Bunya Pine
trees, plentiful wildlife including wallabies and parrots that feed
from your hand. There are many walking tracks through the rainforest
to choose from. Delicious picnic lunches provided.
Rimfire
Winery: Tastings available of a wide range of prize-winning
wines or you can enjoy morning or afternoon tea whilst taking in the
views of the foothills of the Bunya Mountains.
Australia's Heritage Jondaryan
Woolshed: Step back into the past to Queensland's oldest
operating woolshed where you can see sheep being shorn and drink billy
tea and damper.
Cooby Dam: for picnics, fishing
and bushwalking.
Arts, Crafts, Chocolate and Markets:
A visit to the burgeoning arts and craft villages of Highfields and
Cabarlah is always a highlight. An added bonus is the Cabarlah Markets
held the last Sunday of the month and the Darling Downs Farmers Market
at Highfields the first and third Saturday of each month.
Golf: Both 9 and 18 hole golf courses
are a short drive.
